Convenio (Spain)
The Estatuto de los Trabajadores is the floor. The convenio for the sector or the company is what payroll actually runs on: extra payments, overtime, and sometimes probation length. Spain's SMI in 2026 is €1,221 on 14 payments; a convenio commonly pays more.
Model offers as annual cash, then split 12 versus 14 so the candidate is not surprised in July. Our Spain salary monthly figures already divide annual cash by 14.
