Minimum wage
China sets minimums by city, not as one national monthly floor. Hong Kong is hourly (HK$43.1 from 1 May 2026). Singapore has no general monthly minimum; Progressive Wage Model floors apply in named sectors. Malaysia's national monthly minimum is RM1,700. Spain's SMI in 2026 is €1,221 on 14 payments (€17,094 a year). Mexico quotes a daily minimum; Brazil a federal monthly floor of BRL 1,621 from 1 January 2026.
