Tet bonus
Tet holds candidates. People wait for the bonus and the holiday before they resign, so searches that ignore the calendar slip into February. Plant HR and many packages exclude Tet from monthly gross — the same way our Vietnam salary table does.
Model it as a 13th-month-like cost even where the statute does not name a fixed extra month. Confirm what your plant actually pays before you issue the offer.

- Is Tet bonus required by law?
- The Labour Code does not impose one national extra-month formula the way Brazil does. In practice foreign-invested plants pay it, and candidates treat it as part of annual cash.
